I remember a friend who set himself a target he felt extremely excited about.
A few months later, my buddy Bill, took me aside. He went on to tell me how frustrated he was that his target wasn’t materialised.

“You know, my objective to get a toned, sculptured beach body,” Bill reminded me, with a profound sense of frustration and defeat echoing from his voice.

“In the beginning, I was so filled with motivation and enthusiasm. I felt nothing can stop me,” he explained, feeling so confused.
After careful evaluation, it came to light that Bill had lost his burst of inspiration because he wasn’t really passionate about being toned.
He really did not care too much about getting that beach body. In actuality, he used to laugh in the beach-bodied people whenever he seen one on vacation.
His goal was only a passing’wish’.
To put it differently, he did not need to get toned badly enough.
Bill was torn between two ideas.
The first said,”Yeah, I would love to get a toned shore body.” However, his contradictory second idea argued,”Sure, but you might get along in life without it. You laugh at those that have a perfectly toned shore body, now you need one?
His contradictory thought had the upper hand.
You see, Bill would have’enjoyed’ the toned body, but he didn’t turn that wish to a good aim.
The toned body thought remained just that, an idea or a desire. Therefore, his once strong motivation had weakened until it had been there no longer.
If he’d turned it into a target, a good goal, he would have sought after it. He’d have been motivated to pursue this goal no matter how tired or how active he was.
After all, it was his objective. And goals are supposed to be achieved.
Passion ignites the driveway from deep inside to keep the motivation to reach all kinds of goals.
Passion provides the fuel to keep you in an extremely motivated frame of mind.
